Municipal Accommodation Tax

In 2017, the Ontario government, through legislation, provided municipalities with the ability to add a Municipal Accommodations Tax (MAT).  The City of Niagara Falls and hotel community came together to embrace this opportunity as a mechanism to raise funds to promote tourism to Niagara Falls Canada.
