Smart Serve Ontario is a non-profit organization. Smart Serve is recognized by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario as the official delivery agent of the program.
The training program was launched in 1995 and to date almost 1,000,000 individuals have completed the training. www.smartserve.ca
The Smart Serve Training Program teaches alcohol servers to:
- know their responsibilities under the law;
- develop proactive approaches to preventing over consumption;
- recognize the signs of intoxication and implement strategies for aggressive customers.
